PROGRAM PEMBANGUNAN INDUSTRIAL TREE PLANTATION (ITP)
Program Pembangunan Industrial Tree Plantation (ITP) merupakan inisiatif Kerajaan melalui Lembaga Perindustrian Kayu Malaysia (MTIB) bagi menggalakkan penanaman spesies ladang hutan cepat besar. Program ini merupakan pemberian geran padanan pembangunan ladang hutan bertujuan meningkatkan pengeluaran bekalan bahan mentah yang berkualiti, mampan dan berterusan bagi memenuhi keperluan industri perkayuan negara.
Bagi tempoh 2026 hingga 2030 di bawah Rancangan Malaysia Ke-13 (RMKe-13), Kerajaan telah menyediakan peruntukan untuk pelaksanaan program ITP. Melalui inisiatif ini, pembangunan ladang hutan dapat direalisasikan dengan anggaran pengeluaran kayu sebanyak 760,000 meter padu (m3) selepas lapan (8) tahun bergantung kepada spesies hutan yang ditanam.
Program ITP ini terbuka kepada penyertaan syarikat swasta, koperasi serta agensi Kerajaan yang berkelayakan. Syarikat tempatan yang memenuhi syarat kelayakan adalah digalakkan untuk menyertai program ini.

The Industrial Tree Plantation (ITP) Development Programme is a Government initiative implemented through the Malaysian Timber Industry Board (MTIB) to promote the cultivation of fast-growing forest plantation species. This program is matching grant for the development of forest plantations. The programme aims to ensure a sustainable, high-quality and continuous supply of raw materials to support the growth of Malaysia’s timber industry.
Under the Thirteenth Malaysia Plan (RMKe-13) for the period of 2026 to 2030, the Government has provided an allocation for the implementation of the ITP Programme. This initiative targets the development of forest plantations, with an estimated timber output of 760,000 cubic metres after eight (8) years, depending on the forest plantation species.
The ITP Programme is open to private companies, cooperatives, and Government agencies. Local company that meet the eligibility requirements are encouraged to participate in this programme.
